Imsha Rehman Addresses Backlash Before Deactivating Her Account: In a statement to local media, she described the negative comments as "overwhelming."

Pakistani Influencer Imsha Rehman Deactivates Social Media Accounts After Private Video Leaks

Pakistani TikTok star Imsha Rehman, 22, has deactivated her social media accounts following the viral spread of a private video. The video, which was leaked without her consent, sparked significant backlash, with many accusing her of orchestrating the release for attention. However, it appears that Rehman may be the victim of a data breach, echoing a similar incident involving influencer Minahil Malik, whose private video also went viral recently.

Imsha Rehman's Response to the Controversy

Before taking down her accounts, Rehman addressed the overwhelming negative reactions she was receiving, describing the backlash as "overwhelming" in statements to local media. Several screenshots from the video have since circulated widely on social media, with some even being turned into memes.

In one post, reportedly from her TikTok account, Rehman commented, "Jab tak video viral hai maine ne ID off kar di hai" ("Till the time the video is viral, I have deactivated my account").

Who is Imsha Rehman?

Rehman is a popular influencer in Pakistan, known for her lively and engaging content on TikTok, where she has amassed a significant following. She is also active on other social media platforms. Born on October 7, 2002, Rehman grew up in Lahore and has gained widespread recognition for her vibrant online presence.

What Happened with Minahil Malik?

Rehman's situation mirrors that of fellow influencer Minahil Malik, whose private video with her boyfriend also went viral in October. Malik, who faced similar accusations of intentionally leaking the video, denied any wrongdoing, claiming the footage was "fake" and filed a complaint with the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA). However, Malik was subjected to intense trolling, and actress Mishi Khan publicly criticized influencers for resorting to such controversial tactics to gain fame, although she did not directly name Malik.

Rehman’s decision to step away from social media follows the ongoing trend of privacy breaches affecting influencers in Pakistan, sparking discussions around online safety and the risks faced by public figures.
