Megan Fox Says Her Soul Is 'Intertwined' with Machine Gun Kelly's: 'Our Connection Is So Karmic'

Megan Fox describes her connection with Machine Gun Kelly (born Colson Baker) as deeply spiritual, saying their souls are "intertwined" and their bond is "so karmic." The couple first crossed paths in March 2020 on the set of *Midnight in the Switchgrass*. Their romance went public when Fox appeared in Kelly's "Bloody Valentine" music video in May 2020, just days after her split from ex-husband Brian Austin Green following nearly a decade of marriage.

In January 2022, Fox announced their engagement on Instagram, sharing a heartwarming video of Kelly proposing under a banyan tree—an iconic symbol in their relationship.

Fox reflected on the significance of that moment in the caption, writing, "In July of 2020, we sat under this banyan tree. We asked for magic. We were oblivious to the pain we would face together in such a short, frenetic period of time. Unaware of the work and sacrifices the relationship would require from us, but intoxicated off of the love. And the karma."

"Somehow, a year and a half later, after walking through hell together and laughing more than I ever thought possible, he asked me to marry him," she shared. "And just like in every lifetime before this one, and every one that will follow, I said yes… and then we drank each other's blood. 1.11.22 ✨."

Earlier, the actress had hinted at the possibility of having a baby with Machine Gun Kelly when she and Kourtney Kardashian introduced the rapper and Kardashian's husband, Travis Barker, at the 2021 MTV Video Music Awards.

"New York, I need you to get extra loud for our future baby daddies," Fox told the audience.

In November 2023, Megan Fox opened up about her experience with miscarriage, sharing her raw emotions through two poems featured in her book *Pretty Boys Are Poisonous. In an interview with Good Morning America*, Fox discussed how she and her fiancé, Machine Gun Kelly, went through the painful loss together.

"I’ve never been through anything like that in my life. I have three kids, so it was incredibly difficult for both of us. It sent us on a very wild journey, both together and separately… trying to navigate, ‘What does this mean?’ and ‘Why did this happen?’" Fox explained.

In the book, she reflects on an ultrasound of a baby girl at 10 weeks and one day, writing, "maybe if you hadn't... maybe if I had..." She later expresses her sorrow with lines like, "I want to hold your hand / hear your laugh," and, "but now / I have to say / goodbye." One of the more haunting lines reads: "imagine holding you / as they rip you from my insides."

Fox also penned a poignant passage: "I will pay any price. Tell me please / what is the ransom / for her soul?"
