Israel News: Flashbangs Fired at Prime Minister Netanyahu's Residence; Defence Minister Claims 'Iran Attempting to Assassinate...'

Two flashbangs were fired at Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's home in Caesarea, northern Israel, on Saturday, landing in the garden. Neither Netanyahu nor his family were present, and no damage was reported, according to police, as cited by Reuters.

However, the incident was met with strong condemnation from the government. Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz stated that the attack crossed "all red lines" and posted on X, "It is unacceptable for the Prime Minister of Israel, who is already threatened by Iran and its proxies seeking to assassinate him, to face such threats at home."

He called on security and judicial authorities to take immediate action. “The Shin Bet, Israel Police, and all law enforcement agencies must urgently take all necessary steps to end this serious threat and restore order."
