The tragic news of Song Jae Rim’s death comes just weeks after his recent public appearances. He had been actively promoting his latest dramas, My Military Valentine and Queen Woo, both of which were released earlier this year. His most recent appearance was in August on MBC FM4U's Good Morning FM, where he shared lighthearted jokes about his future goals, including ambitions to become a fragrance expert and a meat processing technician, according to PinkVilla.

Born in 1985, Song Jae Rim gained widespread recognition for his role as the loyal bodyguard Kim Jae Won in the 2012 historical drama The Moon Embracing the Sun.
