**Sammy Labels Joseph's Behavior as 'Unacceptable' During Third ODI** West Indies legend Darren Sammy has criticized Alzarri Joseph's actions during the third ODI, calling his behavior to leave the field early "unacceptable." Joseph, who was part of the West Indies team, walked off the ground before the match concluded, sparking controversy. Sammy, known for his leadership and experience, expressed disappointment over the incident, emphasizing the importance of discipline and team spirit.

Joseph left the field multiple times during the match, clearly frustrated with certain aspects of the game.

West Indies head coach Daren Sammy has criticized Alzarri Joseph's behavior during the third ODI against England, calling it "unacceptable" after the fast bowler left the field following a disagreement with captain Shai Hope.

In the fourth over of the match in Bridgetown, Joseph appeared frustrated with the field placement and was seen arguing with Hope. After taking the wicket of Jordan Cox, Joseph did not celebrate with his teammates and instead walked back to his mark. At the end of the over, he left the field without notice, heading to the dressing room. This left West Indies with only ten fielders on the pitch as they began the fifth over.

"Behavior like that is unacceptable on my cricket field," Sammy told TalkSPORT after the match. "We will be friends, but in the culture I'm trying to build, that’s not acceptable. We’ll definitely have a conversation about it."

Joseph returned to the pitch for the start of the sixth over but did not bowl again until the 12th. He bowled two more overs before leaving the field once more after two misfields led to overthrows and additional runs for England. He later returned to bowl two more overs and completed his remaining three in the death overs.

Joseph finished with figures of 2 for 45 from 10 overs, dismissing Cox and Dan Mousley.

Sammy, who became head coach of West Indies in May 2023, is known for his strong man-management skills. He has been credited with encouraging players like Andre Russell and Evin Lewis to return to international cricket.

"I pride myself on having difficult conversations," Sammy said. "But I do so in a way that everyone understands what needs to be done. To see players progressing in the right direction makes me proud. There's still a lot of work to do, but it's something I'm passionate about."

West Indies won the ODI series 2-1, and the five-match T20 series begins on Saturday. Sammy hinted that several key players, including Nicholas Pooran and Akeal Hosein, who were absent during the recent series against Sri Lanka, will return.

"We’ve got a couple of senior players who weren't in Sri Lanka that we expect to be back," Sammy said. "Our T20 team is our most successful and most settled team. While we’ll incorporate new players to give them exposure, our T20 team generally picks itself."
